S05 E26: Jamaican and British Caribbean Genealogy w/Linford Sweeney

Jamaican and British Caribbean genealogy, and genetic genealogy, continue to reveal deep ancestral links between enslaved populations in British-held America and its colonies in the Caribbean. Research continues to show how enslaved people were transported between the two. And, Surprisingly to some, thousands of Indigenous Americans from the East Coast were transported as enslaved people to British colonies in the Caribbean.

Linford Sweeney joined us to share his knowledge and resources about genealogy research in Jamaica and other British-held Caribbean islands.
